Spill bucket regulations are now being enforced throughout the country. Under these regulations, owners or operators shall visually inspect all spill-prevention equipment after each delivery and shall promptly remove and properly dispose of any water, regulated substances, and/or debris from the spill-prevention equipment. According to one customer, regulators fined them up to $15,000 for liquids in their spill buckets. As with fuel spill cleanup, the fuel vapor can be hazardous to your employees, so it is important to use strong vapor suppression. The ECS Spill Bucket Cleaning program gives the employees a safe and environmentally correct method of dealing with this new challenge, insuring the station is in compliance.
